In serving on the Board of SHARE, Rajesh constantly derives inspiration from his late father who served as Administrative Officer at Oxfam, India, and who always believed in helping to improve life for everyone around him.
Rajesh Dhawan is an entrepreneur involved in several ventures.
Rajesh has previously led the development of software applications at Volvo Information Technology of North America and PricewaterhouseCoopers. His projects at Volvo Information Technology included design and development of enterprise-level financial software responsible for computing and distributing complex incentives to the tune of $30 million a month to retailers of Volvo across North America.
Some of his other software engineering stints have been at the Indian Space Research Organization’s Satellite Remote Sensing Department, and Indian Railways’ ticket reservation system.
He was graduated with honors from University of Mumbai’s Engineering Institute, VJTI, with a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications.
