Usha Wright

President and Chairman of the Board, Board of Directors, SHARE

Usha retired as the Executive Vice President at the environmental engineering firm of O’Brien & Gere. Prior to that she served as the Senior Vice President and Director of Global Workforce Strategy of ITT Industries, Inc. At ITT, she was responsible for driving and delivering the company’s integrated diversity and work/life strategy and programs. She also served as Vice President and associate General Counsel at ITT. Prior to joining ITT in 1993, Usha was the Executive Director of Health, Safety and Environment at Ciba Geigy, a Swiss corporation.

She has a Masters Degree from the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering at the University of North Carolina, and is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Law, where she was an editor of Rutgers Law Review.

Usha has served on the Board of Directors of Certified Safety Professionals, the American Industrial Hygiene Association and the National Association of Environmental Managers (NAEM), and Environmental Law Institute (ELI). She currently serves on the Boards of Eastern Environmental Law Center (EELC) and Scenic Hudson.
